Free Eye Surgeries Restore Sight in Abaco: Government and Partners Launch Vital Initiative
The Ministry of Health & Wellness, in partnership with the World Cataract Foundation, Liquid Legacy, and Abaco Strong, hosted a medical mission at Marsh Harbour Healthcare Centre from June 9–13, 2025. The initiative provided over 100 free cataract surgeries and around 10 pterygium removals, with more sight-restoring missions planned in early 2026.
