Through 10 subcommittees addressing key areas such as tobacco control, diabetes and hypertension, older persons’ health and nutrition, the Coalition is committed to improving population health and quality of life. Notable initiatives include the School Water Access Project (SWAP), Healthy Schools Initiative, Break the Silence Campaign, and collaborative projects such as Hope for the Future and the Act on Facts Campaign. In the area of policy, HBC has contributed to the drafting of the Health Promotion and Wellness Bill (2025) and the Rooting Out Violence White Paper.
